DMCA & Takedown Policy

Last updated: July 2026 · We review every notice within 24 hours

The Real Dev Shop respects the intellectual property rights of creators and expects the same of every seller on the Platform. If you believe content listed on The Real Dev Shop infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, you can submit a takedown notice using the form below.

1. Our Commitment

  • Every takedown notice is reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours of submission.
  • If a claim is valid, the infringing listing is removed from the marketplace and the seller is notified.
  • You will receive an email at the address you provide once your notice has been reviewed.

2. What a Valid Notice Must Contain

Consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws, your notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted or protected work you claim is infringed (a description or a link to the original).
  2. The URL of the listing on The Real Dev Shop you believe is infringing.
  3. Your name, email address, and — if you act on behalf of a company — the rights holder you represent.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name below counts as an electronic signature).

3. Counter-Notices

If your listing was removed and you believe the removal was mistaken or the claim is invalid, you can submit a counter-notice directly from your seller dashboard: the removed listing shows a "Submit Counter-Notice" button in your Products list. Explain why the removal was mistaken and sign with your full legal name. Our team reviews every counter-notice; if it is accepted, the listing is restored and the original claimant is notified. Submitting a knowingly false counter-notice is unlawful.

4. Repeat Infringers

Sellers who repeatedly upload infringing content will have their store and account terminated. We track upheld takedowns per seller for this purpose.

5. Misuse of This Process

Submitting knowingly false takedown notices is unlawful (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and may make you liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the seller or by The Real Dev Shop. Fraudulent or abusive notices will be dismissed and reported.
