Purchase Agreement

Version 1.0 · Effective July 16, 2026

Plain-English summary: Everything sold here is a digital file delivered instantly, so all sales are final. You have 4 days from purchase to open a dispute — and only if the product does not work or was misrepresented in its listing. Refunds are issued only when a dispute meets those criteria. Ticking the box at checkout is your electronic signature on this Agreement.

1. The Agreement and How You Accept It

This Purchase Agreement (the "Agreement") is a legally binding contract between you (the "Buyer"), the seller of each product in your order (the "Seller"), and The Real Dev Shop (the "Platform"), which facilitates the transaction. You accept this Agreement by ticking the acceptance checkbox at checkout and completing payment.

Ticking the checkbox constitutes your electronic signature and has the same legal force as a handwritten signature under applicable electronic-transactions laws (including the U.S. E-SIGN Act and UETA where they apply). The Platform records the date, time, account, and IP address of your acceptance and retains that record as evidence of this contract.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not complete your purchase.

2. What You Are Buying

Products sold on the Platform are digital goods (scripts, user interfaces, models, effects, templates, maps, and similar creator assets) delivered by download immediately after payment clears. Delivery is complete the moment your download becomes available in your account — regardless of whether or when you choose to download it.

3. All Sales Are Final

Because digital goods cannot be "returned," every sale is final once delivery is complete. The only exceptions are the dispute rights described in Sections 4–6 and the narrow platform-discretion cases in Section 7.

4. Your 4-Day Dispute Window

You have exactly four (4) days, starting at the time of purchase, to open a dispute on a product. After this window closes, the transaction is conclusively final and no dispute, refund request, or claim of any kind may be raised against the order, the Seller, or the Platform.

Disputes are opened from your Purchase History. Contacting the Seller directly, emailing support, or raising a payment-processor claim does not count as opening a dispute and does not stop the 4-day clock.

5. The Only Valid Grounds for a Dispute

A dispute may be opened only on one or both of the following grounds:

  • The product does not work. The file is broken, corrupted, incomplete, impossible to open, or materially non-functional for its advertised purpose when used as directed.
  • The product was misrepresented. The listing's title, description, images, or video made a materially false or misleading claim about what the product is or does (for example, advertised features that do not exist, or content that is substantially different from what was shown).

The following are expressly not valid grounds for a dispute or refund:

  • Changing your mind, accidental purchase of the correct item, or no longer needing the product
  • The product not meeting subjective expectations of quality, style, or complexity when it works and matches its listing
  • Incompatibility with your own project, game, or setup where the listing did not claim compatibility
  • Minor bugs or imperfections that do not prevent the product from performing its advertised function
  • Lack of skill or knowledge required to install, configure, or use the product
  • Price changes, later discounts, or sales occurring after your purchase
  • Issues caused by modifications you made to the files

6. Refunds

A refund is issued only when a dispute (i) was opened within the 4-day window, (ii) is based on one of the two valid grounds in Section 5, and (iii) is substantiated with evidence and upheld through the Platform's dispute process. In all other circumstances no refund is owed.

  • You must provide a clear description of the defect or misrepresentation, with screenshots, recordings, or other evidence where reasonably possible.
  • The Seller is given an opportunity to respond, remedy the defect, or supply a corrected file. A working replacement or fix delivered during the dispute satisfies the Seller's obligation and no refund is owed.
  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or PayPal.
  • When a refund is approved, your download access to the refunded product is revoked, and any licence granted under Section 8 terminates immediately. You must delete all copies of the files. You are not entitled to keep a product you were refunded for.
  • Refund amounts are limited to the price you actually paid for the product (after any coupons or sale discounts). Neither the Seller nor the Platform is liable for any other costs or damages.

7. Platform-Discretion Exceptions

Independent of the dispute process, the Platform may at its sole discretion refund a transaction where: the same product was purchased twice by accident within 24 hours; you were charged but delivery failed for technical reasons and could not be restored; or the Seller is found to have violated the Platform's Terms of Service in the listing. These exceptions are courtesies, not entitlements, and create no obligation to refund in any other case.

8. Your Licence to the Product

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product in your own projects. Unless the listing expressly states otherwise, you may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, share, leak, or re-upload the product or any part of it, whether free or paid
  • Claim authorship of the product or remove any attribution the Seller included
  • Use the product to create a directly competing listing on this or any other marketplace

Ownership of the underlying work remains with the Seller. Files you download are watermarked with your buyer identity and purchase timestamp; leaked files are traceable to the account that purchased them, and verified leaks result in permanent account termination and may be pursued legally.

9. Chargebacks

Do not bypass the dispute process. Opening a payment-processor chargeback without first using the Platform's dispute process is a breach of this Agreement.

When a chargeback is opened, download access to every product on the affected order is revoked automatically while the chargeback is investigated, your account may be suspended, and the Platform will submit this Agreement — including your recorded acceptance — together with delivery logs as evidence to the payment processor. If the chargeback is decided in your favour, access remains revoked; you are not entitled to keep files you have been refunded for.

10. The Platform's Role

The Platform is a marketplace that facilitates transactions between independent Buyers and Sellers. Sellers are not employees or agents of the Platform. The Platform administers the dispute process as a neutral decision-maker, and its determination of a dispute is final within the Platform. Nothing in this Agreement limits any non-waivable statutory rights you hold in your jurisdiction; where such rights apply, this Agreement operates to the fullest extent permitted alongside them.

11. General Terms

  • Entire agreement. This Agreement, together with the Platform's Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement governing your purchase. If this Agreement conflicts with the Refund Policy, this Agreement controls for purchases made after its effective date.
  • Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • No waiver. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
  • Amendments. The Platform may publish updated versions of this Agreement. Each purchase is governed by the version you accepted at that checkout.

12. Contact

Questions about this Agreement can be raised through the support portal. Disputes must be opened from your Purchase History within the 4-day window.
